A Celebration of Life for Glenn and Roger Hauenstein will be held at 11 a.m., June 20th at the Oroville United Methodist Church, followed by a lunch at 2 p.m. There will be an American Legion service at Riverview Cemetery for Roger.
John L. Burbery, age 87, died on Friday, June 12, 2015 at home in Tonasket. John was born on November 10, 1927 to parents Dick and Lula Burbery.
Walter “Walt” Joos was loved by many and cherished by many more. He had a gentle, giving sole and would help anyone he could… even if it meant going without himself. Verle Harnasch passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, Richland, Washington. He was born in Chesaw, Washington on August 15, 1916, the third of seven children, to William and Lucille Harnasch.
Elizabeth “Betty” Descoteaux, age 87 of Oroville, passed away Thursday, June 04, 2015 at North Valley Extended Care in Tonasket. She was born December 15, 1927 in Montreal, Quebec Canada to parents Harry and Annie Cowling.
Ike (Lyle) M. Fisher of Tonasket, Wash., passed away peacefully at home on May 17th, at 13:40 hours, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Tacoma, Wash. on April 22nd, 1930, to William and Pearl (Paul) Fisher. Ike was 85-years-old.
Fred York Jr, age 78, passed away Memorial Day, May 25, 2015 at his home in Oroville. He was born April 24, 1937 in De Queen, Arkansas, the son of Alpha Myrtle Ballard and Fred York Sr. In 1947, the family migrated north, camping out in fields and by the roadside for the entire journey.
Victor Ronald Lesamiz, 72, died Thursday morning, May 28th at Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by his family. Ronald was born October 30, 1942 to Victor Junior and Lola Lesamiz in Tonasket Washington.
Raymond James “Jim” Blystone was born in Penticton, B.C., Canada on November 24, 1946, he passed away on May 1, 2015.
