A memorial service for Charles “Biff” and Lucille Siegrist will be held Saturday, February 15th from twelve noon to 2 p.m. at the Community Cultural Center, 411 Western Ave in Tonasket.
Charles R. Allie, age 68, Oroville died on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 at North Valley Hospital in Tonasket. He was born on Nov. 25, 1945 in Omak to parents Roy and Vera Allie.
Victor Noel, age 84 of Oroville passed away Wednesday January 29, 2014 at his home in Oroville. He was born on December 20, 1929 to parents George and Mary Noel at Menlo, Washington where his parents and older siblings owned and operated a dairy.
Gene Gadberry of Spokane passed away on January 21, 2014, age 72. He was born in June 1941to Alonzo (Lon) and Dorothy Gadberry, living first in Loomis, Wash. and then moving to Oroville, Wash. when he was a young child.
Tom Silverthorn, age 73 of Tonasket, died on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his home in Tonasket. He was born on December 4, 1940 in Tonasket to parents Jim and Betty Silverthorn.
Kathrine Ann (Thornton) Sawyer, 52, of Ensenada, Mexico passed away on November 30, 2013. She was born on June 16, 1961 in Tonasket, Wash. to Oscar and Elsie Thornton of Oroville, Wash. When she was 19-months-old she went to live and be raised by her Aunt Delores Hogue and Grandmother Augusta Thornton because of the sudden passing of her mother. Even though her Aunt Delores was not her biological mother she was her mom.
Dorothy Nesper, age 83 of Molson, formerly of Renton, Wash. died on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster. She was born on November 21, 1930 in Dunn Center, North Dakota to parents Jake and Emma Gensberg.
Melissa A. Keenan, 65, born August 5, 1948 in San Diego, California died December 30, 2013 while living in Langley, Washington.
James E. Moss passed away peacefully on October 26, 2013 at Bristol Heights Assisted Living in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
On the night of December 20, 2013, William Vincent Cottrell cleanly slipped his anchor-hawse and set sail on the trade winds for his final voyage. He left port with fair winds, dry decks, and seas on the quarter.
