WVC at Omak Foundation presents Artists for Scholars event

WVC AT OMAK COMMUNITY RELATIONS

OMAK – The Wenatchee Valley College at Omak Foundation invites the community to participate in the 2016 Artists for Scholars event on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the large conference room of the 12 Tribes Resort & Casino, Omak.

The foundation will celebrate and support local artists while also raising funds to support Omak campus scholarships and programs.

Some of the featured artists include George Traicheff, Tina Tharp, Stephanie Clark, Ron Adamson, Don Nutt, Nigel Mayberry and David Craig.

Professional artists are invited to either sell art at commission, with a percentage going to the WVC at Omak Foundation, or to donate work to sell at the event. Interested artists should contact Kimberly Freel at 509.733.1672 or kfreel@cmppg.org.

The event is sponsored by the WVC at Omak Foundation and the 12 Tribes Resort & Casino.
