OROVILLE – Dirty Paws Pet Grooming recently opened at 2311 N. Highway 97 in Oroville by Kindra Anderson.

The new business offers dog grooming such as nail clipping, shampooing, hair clipping and flea and tick baths.

“We would also like to offer pet boarding in the future,” said Anderson, who grew up in Oroville and also has run the Java Junkie coffee shop, located near the pet grooming shop.

When asked why she wanted to open this new business, she said, “I have loved animals my entire life and felt there was a need in Oroville for a dog groomer.”

Anderson and her husband Clint have two children, a nine-year-old son and a seven-year-old daughter. They have three dogs, three cats, chickens, geese, ducks and horses.
