Travis Glenn Rairdan, 25, was tragically lost on the evening of Nov. 12, 2010. He was born to Bill and Connie Rairdan on March 31, 1985 in Tonasket.
Travis was raised in Tonasket and graduated a 12-year senior of Tonasket High School in 2003. He went on to attend college at Washington State University and Eastern Washington University before coming home to work at Columbia Distributing in 2006. Travis liked to hunt and fish, but his main passion was sports of all kinds. He was a member of the high school football, wrestling and baseball teams all four years of high school. After high school he continued on to coach and officiate for kids’ sports of all age groups. In addition he was active in Fantasy Football and intramural softball. He also loved spending time doing anything with friends and family.
Among others, Travis was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Russell “Pop” and Bunny Hawkins; grandfather, Glenn Rairdan; his uncle, Robert ‘Bob’ Rairdan and one brother, Troy Glenn Rairdan.
He is survived by his grandparents, Olive “Muggs” Rairdan of Oroville, Jerry and Elaine Beeman of Tonasket; his parents of Tonasket; one sister, Lisa (John) Oliver of Brewster; two brothers: Derek (Amber) of Republic and Adam of Renton; three nieces; one nephew; one great-nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at the Tonasket High School Gymnasium on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m., for anyone who wishes to attend.
