Pam was born in Tonasket, Washington on November 25, 1948 to Ermil and Juanita (DeMerchant) Pearson. She attended and graduated from high school there. She received an A.A. Degree from Wenatchee Valley College in 2005 and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of New Mexico in 2007. Pam passed away June 19, 2016.

Pam lived in Seattle for many years, working for Qwest from 1972 until she retired in 2002.

Pam enjoyed traveling to many countries across the world exploring her interest in archaeology, ancient cities and cultures.

After she retired, Pam moved to Jacksonville, Ore. She volunteered for the Thrift Store, the Food Bank and Master Gardeners. She was very active in the Community Center and was on their Board of Directors.

Pam was a trustworthy, creative, smart woman. She was generous with her time and talents, and she will be greatly missed.

Pam is survived by her sister Pat Hayes, brother Rick Kernan, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
