Marquise Marguerite Osiecki

Marquise Marguerite Osiecki,48, of Oroville died on March 13 in Tonasket at North Valley Hospital.

She was born in Monroe, Mich. on April 4, 1962 to Sandra [Duvall] and Harold Berthlett.

Marquise graduated from St. Anne Catholic grade school, attended two years St. Mary Academy and graduated from Jefferson High School all in Monroe, Mich. She also received two Associate Degrees from Monroe County Community College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her first degree was in Child Care Management and second as an Electrical Technician. She worked for Savin Corp which was bought out by Ricoh.

She married Carl Ervin and had one son, Eric Wayne. Later she had a daughter Breanna Elizabeth.

In 2006, she married Mark Osiecki and moved to Washington with him and her daughter, Breanna. They have lived in Washington for three years.

Marquise was a good artist and enjoyed gardening and movies.

Surviving her are her husband, Mark Osiecki of Oroville; her son, Eric Ervin of Michigan and Breanna Ervin of Oroville.

Harold Berthlett, her father, preceded her in death. Her maternal grandfather, Arvine Duvall and paternal grandparents, Arlouine (DeRemur) and Ernest Berthlett also preceded her in death.

As per her wishes, she is cremated and will return to Mich. There was time to visit with family and friends at 6 p.m. and Mass at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Oroville on Monday, March 21.

Prayers and Masses are welcomed. Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel and& the Okanogan County Crematory are in care of the arrangements.
