OKANOGAN -The Tonasket High School track team competed well at the Real Dirt, Real Track meet in Okanogan on Saturday, April 23 against Cashmere, Okanogan and Omak.
“It was a good meet for us,” Head Coach Bob Thornton said. “Shea Smith had a great personal record in the shot, her hard work is paying off. Zach Neal had another personal record in the javelin, breaking 140 feet for the first time. He continues to improve every meet. Damon Halvorsen ran a smart competitive 1600, he is looking good going into the last meets of the season. The whole team is improving and is right where we want them going into the last meets of the season.”
