Ken was born to Opal and Bearl Gideon on March 4, 1935 at Taneyville, Mo. The family moved to Oroville in 1954. Ken worked in and around Oroville for many years and owned and operated Ken’s Texaco. He was much loved and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife Melinda; his children: Mike Gideon of Springfield, Mo., Toni Lee of Oroville, Anna Bement of Kennewick, Amy Garrett, Jude York and David York all of Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 4, soon-to-be 5, great grandchildren; 2 brothers, 3 sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

At Ken’s request there will be no services.
