On Nov. 7, 2007 Eugene ‘Gene’ Tomma was laid to rest in Nicola Valley, B.C. Eugene was born May 11, 1953 in Merritt, B.C. and passed on Nov, 3, 2007 in the Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C.

He went to school and grew up in the Nicola Valley. He later moved to Oroville. In 1996 he married his love, Doreen Gallant. They later moved to Canada for a time.

He is survived by his wife Doreen Tomma; two stepsons, Shane (Kim) O’Dell of Kettle Falls, Wash., and David Gallant of Arlington, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Lorraine and Elaina Gallant of Oroville; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter; also family from Canada.

In loving memory – we will miss him greatly.
