Jody (Wyatt) Smith of Oroville passed away at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee on September 17th 2014. Jody was born July 30, 1953 to Frank Wyatt and Betty Finsen.

She grew up between Oroville and Nighthawk and was a graduate of Oroville High School. After school she moved to Seattle where she became a bookkeeper, and met her husband Bob Smith. Jody and Bob moved to Torrance, Calif.

She enjoyed being around family and friends, camping, reading and flowers.

Jody is survived by her mother Betty (Jack) Finsen of Oroville, one brother Joe (Jenny) Finsen of Oroville, and one sister Jill Finsen of Oroville. Along with several cousins, nieces and nephews, and longtime friend Dave Reynolds.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Smith, father Frank Wyatt, grandparents Erna and Frank Wyatt, grandmother Ruth Bird, grandfather Lee Malkson, sister Gerri Lee Howe, nephew Donny

Howe, and several aunts and uncles.

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
