“Good defensive plays, good serving and great team play were the keys to our win,” Nellie Kirk, head coach, said. “The team wanted to win and played together to get the victory.”

The Tigers, now 6-7 in league, will play their first district game on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Okanogan High School at 10 a.m.

“I think Tonasket will be the number five team in league and they will play the loser of the Brewster-Okanogan game tonight at 11 a.m. on Saturday,” Steve Chamberlin, Okanogan High School athletic director, said. “If Tonasket wins, they’ll play the number one seeded team, which is Cascade, at three p.m.”
