John Beedle, of Oroville, died on April 7, 2008 in Oroville. He was born on April 26, 1955 in Oceanside, Calif. to parents Cliff and Delores Beedle.

Together for 29 years, John and Jill spent 25 years in Nenana, Alaska where John worked for the Nenana Public School system as Maintenance Director. John was much loved by students and faculty who were sad to see him go. He was an avid photographer, nature lover, hunter, fisherman and musician. Three years ago they retired to Oroville where John pursued his love of photography and music. Recently John began a new career driving the local school bus and was getting to know a whole new generation of young people.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Beedle of Oroville; parents: Cliff (Jane) Beedle of Republic and Delores (Bill) Street of Oregon; children: stepson Scott (Melodie) Nicholson of Anchorage, Alaska and stepdaughter, Crystal (Johnny) Battagliola of Coquitlam, B.C.; sister, Sue Jenkins of Anacortes, Wash.; three granddaughters and two nephews; The Beedle Bunch of Republic, Wash. and his “best pal” Hootie-boy.
