OROVILLE – Gary Dobbins is the new branch manager at the Oroville branch of Baines Title and Escrow.
When Baines first opened in Oroville it was just for two days a week, now the business is open five days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays, said the branch manager.
“We are a service business of 100 years in Okanogan County,” said Dobbins, who points out that founder William Baines saw opportunity when he first came to this area and that land title in rural areas is always an important and needed service.
“We handle issues concerning land titles, write title policies and have an escrow service to perform land transactions,” Dobbins said, adding the company’s business is directly connected with the current real estate growth of the county.
“This county has a very busy future in all areas of real estate and commerce,” he said.
The branch manager says his company offers service. “We have a great staff in title, escrow and contract service. We can handle any land transaction with a strong and dedicated team…. We smile a lot too,” Dobbins said.
The branch manager was raised in Eugene, Oregon and has lived in Okanogan County, in and out of Riverside, ever since he was 19. He continues to live on family land in Riverside with his two Brittany Spaniels.
Dobbins participates in community events and when he gets the chance he likes to hike, hunt and ski.
