TONASKET – The Tonasket Comancheros are hosting their annual auction to raise money for the Tonasket Rodeo on Saturday, March 26 at the Tonasket Eagles.
The event, which is open to Eagles members and guests, begins with dinner at 5 p.m. The dinner is barbequed pulled-pork or barbequed pulled-beef. The cost for adults is $10 while children 12-years-old and under cost $5.
After the dinner, the auction begins at 7 p.m.
“We’re raising money to help put the rodeo on,” Bev Montanye said. “For the auction, we’re supposed to have a pellet stove, eight-ounce sirloin steaks from Double S, a box of apples from Regal Fruit, pruning loppers, afghan quilts and a homemade bench along with other items.”
She added that the Comancheros usually raise between $3,000 and $3,500 at their auction.
