THS students heading to FBLA Nationals

SPOKANE – Yigit Karaermis, a Tonasket High School senior, and THS sophomore Nicole Juarez placed at the Washington State FBLA Conference last week in Spokane, earning the right to compete at the National FBLA Conference in Atlanta in June.

Juarez took third in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedures.

Karaermis placed fourth in Public Speaking 2.

“I am very proud of these students and their accomplishment. They have worked hard for honor,” said FBLA Advisor Janine McCormick, adding, “The FBLA will be doing fundraising and seeking donations to help these two travel to Atlanta for Nationals.”
