Robert ‘Bob’ Bee Monroe, age 70, of Tonasket died on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at North Valley Hospital in Tonasket. He was born on Jan. 13, 1939 in Marietta, Okla. to parents Claude and Audrey Monroe. Bob moved to Tonasket in 1974 where he resided with his wife and daughter. He worked at North Valley Hospital for 30 years.

Bob is survived by his wife, Irene V. Monroe; His children: Rick Monroe, Nick Monroe, Stacy Downey, Ruth Monroe and John McIntyre; And his sisters: Shirley Giles and Linda Wooten.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 at the Bergh Chapel in Oroville with Elwyn Loney, officiating. Interment followed at the Tonasket Cemetery.
