OROVILLE – The Day Spa on Main has reopened with a new name – Leah Cathryn Day Spa and in a new location – 809 14th Avenue.

“Look for the large window right across from the Camaray Motel,” said owner Leah Colbert. “This space is larger, newer and nicer in every way. I just love it and can’t wait to share it with you.”

Colbert encourages people to stop by anytime or to call and make an appointment. She stocks a wide selection of quality and unique items, including an array of body products, massage tools and pain relief creams. Including some fun stuff, she says, like beautiful glass jewelry and OPI – the Muppet nail polish.

“You will have to see just how awesome these colors are,” she said.

Also, there is quite a selection of handbags, purses and wallets, according to Colbert.

“There’s something for everyone. Plus some of my own creations… Leah’s mosaic mirrors, glass beaded windows, feather headbands, themed gift baskets and dried flower arrangements.

Among the services offered are massage, hot stone massage and paraffin dips.

“Soon I will be adding the body bliss package which includes choice of aromatheraphy oils in your lotion, paraffin dip for your hands and nourishing cucumber eye pads, plus a few extras,” she said.

Colbert feels a full service day spa is just what Oroville needs and will offer a “beautiful, relaxing setting; professional and courteous services and an assortment of awesome products and quality artwork.”

She will be holding an open house on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The open house will feature three local wool felters and their wares.

“This will be a cozy event with felted hats, scarves, mittens and other unique items. Plus my purses, handbags and mosaic mirrors will be rounding out the show,” she said, adding the night is designed for the ladies in town, but they are free to bring their men too.

Colbert can be reached at her shop at 809 14th Ave. or by calling (509) 476-9000.
