Sherry Livingston passed away May 5, 2016 after a courageous (stubborn!) battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born August 30, 1939 in Tonasket, Washington, the only daughter of the late Clarence and Vy Campbell.
Being raised on a cattle ranch along with three teasing, but macho and loving big brothers no doubt contributed to her rather feisty, “I can do it” attitude and spirit. After graduating from Kinman Business College in Spokane, she worked in several departments and positions for the Upper Columbia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, retiring from there in 2003, her faithful service spanning 44 years.
Sherry was a long-time active member of the Spokane Central Seventh-day Adventist Church. Over the years, she served in various ministries there, including Sabbath School Superintendent.
Left to miss her are son, Arlyn Livingston; daughter, Ronda Livingston Harrison; former husband Ron Livingston; brothers Kenny and David Garry Campbell; six grandchildren and a host of relatives, friends and loved ones too numerous to list, but whose friendship Sherry truly cherished.
Our special thanks goes to Cyndi Lowerison, former neighbor of Greenbluff who continued to visit Sherry even long after the cruel disease had robbed her of the ability to communicate with words.
The funeral service will be held at the Ball and Dodd Funeral Home, Friday May 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. Former neighbor and friend Pastor Teddy Shupe will officiate with interment at Peone Prairie Cemetery to follow.
