Luella June (White) Essary

Luella June (White) Essary, age 74, of Tonasket died on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010 in Tonasket.

She was born on June 22, 1936 in Abesville, Mo., to parents Ernest V. and Agnes (Bloomer) White. Luella lived in Tonasket for 25 years. She worked as a seamstress while raising nine children. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved and prayed for her family faithfully and trusted God wholeheartedly. Fishing with those she loved as a favorite pastime for Luella. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Tonasket for many years. We will miss her warm, soft hugs.

She is survived by her children: Roy Essary, Ronda Araucos, Debra Blakeslee, Rosemary Jonason, Jim Essary, Gerry Harden, Roberta Cisneros and Sherri Broyles; her sister, Margaret Hall; 24 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Luella was preceded in death by one daughter, Vickie L. Blakeslee; two sisters: Lillian Baker and Ruby Jean White; one brother, Ernest Franklin White; her mother, Agnes Alpha Bloomer and her father, Ernest Victor White; and her husband, Hubert in 2002.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Bergh Chapel in Oroville with Pastor Vern Weaver, officiating. Interment followed at the Loomis Mt. View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our House in Wenatchee.
