Criminal

  • Nicholas Scott Thornton, 27, Oroville, pleaded guilty Sept. 2 to POCS (heroin), second-degree DWLS and use of drug paraphernalia. Thornton was sentenced Sept. 16 to 364 days in jail with 274 days suspended, and fined $1,260.50 for the Feb. 22 crimes.
  • Brandon Shea Marchand, 42, Okanogan, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle, POCS (methamphetamine), obstruction and third-degree DWLS. Those crimes occurred May 31. In a second case, Marchand pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to second-degree trafficking in stolen property (lesser included for first-degree trafficking in stolen property). The court dismissed another charge: possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Marchand was sentenced to a total of four months in jail and fined a total of $2,521.
  • Sam Philip Adrian, 18, Omak, pleaded guilty Sept. 20 to first-degree criminal trespassing (lesser included to second-degree burglary), POCS (heroin), use of drug paraphernalia, making a false or misleading statement, third-degree malicious mischief and POCS (methamphetamine). The court dismissed two charges: third-degree malicious mischief and having or making burglar tools. Those crimes occurred March 2, 2016. In a second case, Adrian pleaded guilty Sept. 20 to second-degree escape. That crime occurred Feb. 16. Adrian was sentenced to 8 months in jail and fined a total of $2,721.
  • Laura Ann Ballard, 54, Oroville, pleaded guilty Sept. 20 to first-degree ID theft, second-degree theft and two counts of third-degree theft. Ballard was sentenced to 6 months of electronic home monitoring and fined $600 for the Sept. 23, 2013 crimes.
  • Raymond Edward Ballard, 53, Oroville, pleaded guilty Sept. 20 to first-degree ID theft, second-degree theft and two counts of third-degree theft. Ballard was sentenced to 6 months of electronic home monitoring and fined $600 for the Sept. 23, 2013 crimes.

District Court

  • Mongo Jerry Lodi Renion, 33, Omak, booked on two charges of second-degree criminal trespassing. Renion was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 days suspended, and fined $1,106.
  • Henry Floyd Robinson, 44, Omak, guilty of disorderly conduct. Robinson was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 83 days reported, and fined $653.
  • Michael Dean Robinson, 39, Tonasket, had a charge dismissed: second-degree fishing without a license or catch card.
  • Ricky Lee Roy, 59, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Roy received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $513.
  • Daniel Uribe Ruelas, 51, Okanogan, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Tasheena Raelea Ruiz, 21, Omak, had a third-degree theft charge dismissed. Ruiz was fined $561.06.
  • Amanda A. Sanabria Hammons, 34, Omak, had a charge dismissed: use of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jose Antonio Sanchez Cortez, 33, Oroville, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Sanchez Cortez had a reckless driving charge dismissed. Sanchez Cortez received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $513.
  • William Scott Sanders, 45, Tonasket, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Sanders received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $863.
  • Jesus Denis Sandoval, 21, Oroville, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Sandoval was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 86 days suspended, and fined $903.
  • Ronni Lyn Sandoval, 47, Tonasket, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Michael Wayne Schwertner, 25, Omak, had two charges dismissed: third-degree malicious mischief and MIP/C.
  • Kane McKinsey Searcy, 33, Okanogan, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Searcy was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 83 days suspended, and fined $266.
  • Issac Serrano, 28, Omak, had a first-degree criminal trespassing charge dismissed. Serrano was fined $500.
  • Eli Joseph Smith, 45, Riverside, had a harassment charge dismissed.
  • Kenneth Ray Squetimkin, 25, Okanogan, guilty on two counts of third-degree theft. Squetimkin was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined a total of $906.
  • Dane Adam Stalder, 27, Tonasket, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Stalder was received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $283.
  • Rodney A. Tederman (aka Rodney A. Fisk), 27, Tonasket, had third-degree theft charge dismissed.
