  • Cameron Dean Gregg, 56, Omak, pleaded guilty Oct. 7 to harassment (threats to kill) (DV). Gregg was sentenced to 12+ months in prison and fined $1,375.50 for the June 1 crime.
  • Jonathan Brent McKinney, 43, Oroville, pleaded guilty Sept. 28 to possession of a stolen motor vehicle, attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle, third-degree malicious mischief, two counts of hit-and-run (property damage), one count each of third-degree DWLS, possession of stolen mail, unlawful possession of a legend drug and two counts of third-degree possession of stolen property. Those crimes occurred Dec. 26, 2015. In a second case, McKinney pleaded guilty Sept. 28 to forgery, third-degree theft and two counts of second-degree possession of stolen property. Those crimes occurred Dec. 30, 2015. In a third case, McKinney pleaded guilty Sept. 28 to first-degree trafficking in stolen property and second-degree possession of stolen property. Those crimes occurred Dec. 3, 2015. In a fourth case, McKinney pleaded guilty Sept. 28 to residential burglary and second-degree theft. Those crimes occurred Nov. 1, 2015. McKinney was sentenced to 36.75 months (three-plus years) in prison and fined a total of $4,515.53 in fines and restitution.
  • Jami Leigh Childers, 19, Omak, pleaded guilty Oct. 4 to two counts of POCS (one each of heroin and methamphetamine) and use of drug paraphernalia. Childers was sentenced to 15 days in jail and fined $1,260.50 for the Aug. 27 crimes.
  • Veronica Salinas Montoya, 30, Omak, pleaded guilty Oct. 4 to POCS (methamphetamine). Montoya was sentenced to 15 days in jail and fined $1,260.50 for the Aug. 13 crime.
  • Shaun Anthony Sadino, 18, Okanogan, pleaded guilty Oct. 4 to attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle, obstruction, making a false or misleading statement, third-degree DWLS and MIP/C. Sadino was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 304 days suspended and fined $600 for the Sept. 5 crimes.
  • David Allen Stiles, 32, Oroville, pleaded guilty Oct. 4 to theft of mail. Stiles was sentenced to six months in jail and fined $1,260.50 for the July 30 crime.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Stephanie Brown, no middle name listed, 35, Oroville, with second-degree malicious mischief and fourth-degree assault (DV). The crimes allegedly occurred Sept. 20.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Allen Francis Ballensky, 61, Fairview, Mont., with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The crime allegedly occurred Sept. 26 at the Oroville Port of Entry.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Marysabel Vasquez, 25, Winston-Salem, N.C., with POCS (cocaine), POCS (Vyvanse) and POCS (cor 135). The crimes allegedly occurred Sept. 30 at the Oroville Port of Entry.

District Court

  • Phillip James Cox, 57, Loomis, had a hit-and-run charge (unattended property) charge dismissed. Cox was fined $200.
  • William Scott Davis, 52, Omak, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed. Davis was fined $300.
  • Nicholas Ryan Demmitt, 26, Omak, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Miguel Espinoza Munoz, 56, Tonasket, guilty of DUI. Espinoza Munoz was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 357 days suspended, and fined $1,981.
  • Jo-Dee Lynn Feeley, 42, Omak, had a charge dismissed: resisting arrest.
  • Craig Maurice Fingar, 46, Okanogan, guilty of third-degree theft and guilty (deferred prosecution revoked) of DUI. Fingar was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 361 days suspended and fined $2,764.
  • Jared Nathanael Fudge, 26, Omak, had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed.
  • Kathleen June Gasper, 39, Omak, had a charge dismissed: allowing an unauthorized person to drive. Gasper was fined $400.
  • Rickey D. Goodpastor, 64, Oroville, guilty of resisting arrest. Goodpastor had an obstruction charge dismissed. Goodpastor received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $43.
  • Gary Lee Green, 46, Tonasket, guilty of third-degree DWLS and DUI. Green was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 214 days suspended, and fined $2,704.
  • Michael Reyes Hansen, 25, Okanogan, guilty on two counts of third-degree DWLS. Hansen received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $1,726.
  • Jason David Harder, 45, Omak, guilty of third-degree theft. Harder was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 361 days suspended, and fined $833.
