Seminar on changes in workers compensation

OMAK – Representatives from the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries will be holding a seminar for small businesses on Dec. 9 in Omak.
They will talk about the 2009 changes in the state workers compensation system, how to minimize your costs, what to expect if you’re audited and what services and support are available for small businesses.
Speakers will be Ron Langley, L&I’s small business liaison from Tumwater; Shannon McNutt, Central Washington Field Audit Program Supervisor; and Mark Mayer, Central Washington Collection Program Supervisor.
The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 11:00 Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Koala Street Grill, 914 Koala Ave., in Omak. Contact the Economic Alliance for any questions or to pre register at (509) 826-5107.
