Oroville Chamber bringing circus back to town

OROVILLE – The Oroville Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus at City Park on Friday June 5 with shows at 5:00 and 7:30 p.m.

The circus features a high wire and trapeze act, feats of strength and daring do, acrobats, clowns and a dog and pony review, as well as a whole menagerie of animals from camels to big cats.

City Park is located behind the Oroville Visitor Information Center. Advanced tickets are $6.00 a child and $8.00 an adult at the following ticket outlets: Oroville Pharmacy, 1416 Main Street; Oroville Realty, 1419 Main Street and Windremere Real Estate, 1408 Main Street, Oroville and Tonasket Interiors, 7 W. 4th Street, Tonasket.

Gary DeVon is the managing editor of the Okanogan Valley Gazette-Tribune and celebrated his 25th year at the newspaper in August 2012. He graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in Communications - Print Journalism, with an emphasis in photojournalism. He is a proud alumnus of Oroville High School.
