OMAK – "Leading theWay Towards Economic Recovery" is the theme of the NCW Economic Summitplanned for Friday, Sept. 23 at the Omak Performing Arts Center.
Thesummit includes various topics throughout the day and begins with a SocialMedia/Marketing Panel between 9:15 and 10:30 a.m. The panel includes RogerHarnack from the Omak Chronicle, Amanda Jackson with the Methow Valley ArtsAlliance and Don or Judy Phelps from Hard Row to How Vineyard.
The nexttopic is Changing Demographics: "Who are our New Customers?" between10:45 a.m. and 12 p.m. D. Patrick Jones, PHD with the Institute for PublicPolicy and Economic Alliance will  bethe guest speaker.
During a catered lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. it willbe "Building a Vision." Gene Juarez, Owner of Gene Juarez Salons willlead the discussion.
After a quick break the summit will resume with"Top Ten Ways to Retain Great Employees from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. AdrienWiegenstein, SPHR, President-elect of Apple Valley Human Resources Associationand Business Services Specialist at Employment Security Department in Wenatcheewill speak.
Then, between 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. there will be a Business Paneland the discussion topic will be "How My Business Survived and Diversifiedin this Economy." Steve Krieder, Country Town Drilling/Invention Works andJohn Butler, American Produce LLC will lead the discussion.
From 3:30 to 4p.m. there will be time for questions and networking.
