TONASKET – Antique brochures with a treasure map of the locations of the eight antique stores in Tonasket will be available during an open house at the Tonasket Visitor’s and Business Resource Center on Friday, Dec. 17.

The TVBRC, located at 215 S. Whitcomb, will be open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for businesses and the community to come inside and explore the center during an open house hosted by Volunteer Coordinator Linda Black and the TVBRC Board of Directors.

“The antique brochure, which I call the Treasure Map, is finished and we’ll be showing the map of the eight antique stores to people who attend the Open House,” Black said. “I also have a sign calling Tonasket the antique capital of Okanogan County ready.”

Black said another purpose of this open house is to show people who haven’t visited the center what the TVBRC has to offer.

“I want to show off the front part of the visitor’s center, the beautiful back room, the kitchen and also to let people know about the public restroom the center has.”
