Joshua Wayne Allie, 34, Tonasket, was acquitted (jury trial) March 12 of possession of a stolen firearm, first-degree trafficking in stolen property, residential burglary and third-degree theft. The charges stemmed from two separate cases.

Bradley Allen Sweat, 24, Omak, pleaded guilty April 15 to assault in violation of a no-contact order, violation of a no-contact order and POCS (methamphetamine). Those crimes occurred Feb. 15. In a separate case, Sweat pleaded guilty April 15 to 16 counts of violation of a no-contact order. Those crimes occurred between Feb. 16-21 in phone calls made from the Okanogan County Corrections Center. Sweat was sentenced to a total of 30 months in prison and fined $2,110.50.

Saul Seamus Durkee, 23, Omak, pleaded guilty April 1 to second-degree assault with a deadly weapon and use of drug paraphernalia. The court dismissed a fourth-degree assault charge. Durkee was sentenced April 11 to 89 months in prison and fined $13,112.14, which includes $12,251.64 in restitution.

Kelby James Renkert, 26, Okanogan, was found guilty March 11 in a stipulated facts trial of third-degree assault (of a law enforcement officer), second-degree vehicle prowl and third-degree theft. Renkert was sentenced to 19.5 months in prison and fined $1,110.50 for the Nov. 12, 2012 crimes. In a separate case, Renkert pleaded guilty March 11 to first-degree criminal trespassing. He was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 201 days suspended and credit for 163 days served. The sentence is to run concurrent with the above judgment. Renkert was fined $1,010.50 for those crimes.

Jesus Antonio Renteria Hernandez, 19, Omak, pleaded guilty Feb. 21 to second-degree theft. Renteria Hernandez was sentenced to 60 days in jail and fined $2,025.41 for the July 7, 2013 crime. He also had a first-degree trafficking of stolen property charge dismissed.
