OKANOGAN – Power has been restored to all but 55 customers affected by the Okanogan Complex Fires.

The Okanogan County PUD and mutual aid crews continue to work long hours to restore power and our goal is to have power to customers that can have power by this Friday. We have confirmed that 785 poles and 216 miles of distribution line have been burned by the Okanogan Complex Fire. We believe those numbers will increase as we finalize our assessment.

Okanogan PUD has released Okanogan Complex fire related maps of the Okanogan PUD electric system and outages involved within our service area. Additionally, these maps include an outline of the fire in relationship to the transmission and distribution lines within our electric infrastructure. Conditions, borders and data change daily and these maps may not contain all the systems within our boundaries, but display the general infrastructure involved. These maps are available on our website at www.okanoganpud.org.
