2B Boys District 5/6 Regional – Liberty Bell 26, Manson 55, Bickleton 56, Lake Roosevelt 91. Top 2 teams to state. No Oroville qualifiers (led by Santana, 18th, 18:17). LB’s Liam Daily wins in 16:11.

1A Boys District 6/7 Regional – Lakeside 31, Medical Lake 51, Cashmere 100, Quincy 103, Riverside 138, Chelan 156, Omak 192, Cascade 237, Freeman 265, Tonasket 282, Newport 295, Chewelah 343, Kettle Falls 367. Top 3 teams to state. No Tonasket state qualifiers (led by Avilez 43rd, 18:44).

1A Girls District 6/7 Regional – Lakeside 38, Riverside 40, Medical Lake 98, Cashmere 119, Freeman 149, Chelan 150, Omak 174, Quincy 182, Tonasket 295, Newport 308, Cascade 319. Top 3 teams to state. No Tonasket state qualifiers (led by Puente, 49th, 23:20).

Football

Oroville 57, Bridgeport 12 – Oroville clinches at least a tie for CWL’s 3rd and final playoff spot. Next week’s Liberty Bell – White Swan game will determine what happens next … If White Swan defeats Liberty Bell, CWL’s state playoff seeds are: 1. Kittitas, 2. White Swan, 3. Oroville. If Liberty Bell defeats White Swan, both teams and Oroville will be in a three-way tie for second place, with each having split its games with the other two. A three-way mini-playoff would be required to determine which two of the three teams would advance to the state playoffs.
