  • David George Vanvekoven, 45, Oroville, pleaded guilty Oct 11 to POCS (methamphetamine), first-degree DWLS and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Vanvekoven was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 274 days suspended, and fined $600 for the Nov. 30, 2015 crimes.
  • Cody Lee Knecht, 27, Fargo, N.D., pleaded guilty Oct. 11 to failure to register as a sex offender and third-degree theft. Knecht was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined $1,260.50 for the Sept. 19 crimes.
  • Kareen Jo Shawl, 38, Okanogan, pleaded guilty Oct. 11 to third-degree assault (health care worker) and resisting arrest. Shawl was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 30 days suspended, and fined $600 for the Aug. 18 crimes.
  • Ronald Eugene New, 33, Oroville, pleaded guilty Oct. 11 to attempted failure to register as a sex offender. New received a 364-day suspended sentence and fined $1,160.50 for the July 6, 2012 crime.
  • Brandy Marie Summers, 40, Tonasket, pleaded guilty Oct. 13 to theft of a motor vehicle, third-degree theft (lesser included to theft of a motor vehicle), third-degree malicious mischief and second-degree criminal trespassing. Summers was sentenced to three months in jail and fined $1,260.50 for the June 27 crimes.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Chad Aaron Mahan, 23, Omak, with intimidating a witness, second-degree assault (DV), harassment (threats to kill) and obstruction. The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 7.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Jessie Kane Locklear, 29, Omak, with intimidating a witness, two counts of second-degree assault (with a deadly weapon), one count each of second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, two counts of harassment (threats to kill), and one count each of third-degree assault (law enforcement officer) and obstruction. The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 7.

District Court

  • Alexzandra Emogene Jackson, 24, Omak, had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed.
  • Matthew Douglas Jacobs, 29, Tonasket, guilty of bail jumping (gross misdemeanor), vehicle operator refusing to comply with a police officer, three counts of third-degree DWLS, and one count each of having a loaded firearm in a vehicle without permission, use or possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Jacobs was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 86 days suspended, and fined a total of $942.
  • Jacqueline Jameson, 55, Oroville, had a third-degree theft charge dismissed.
  • Kelsie Linn Kalma, 21, Tonasket, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Leigh Marie Kincaid, 36, Omak, guilty of third-degree malicious mischief and bail jumping (gross misdemeanor); and guilty (deferred prosecution revoked) of fourth-degree assault. Kinkaid had several charges dismissed: harassment and two additional charges of bail jumping (gross misdemeanor). Kincaid was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 357 days suspended, and fined a total of $1,041.
  • Anastacia M. King, 23, Tonasket, guilty (other deferral revoked) of third-degree theft. King was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 354 days suspended, and fined $163.
  • Bradley Keith Leard, 18, Omak, had a third-degree malicious mischief charge dismissed.
  • Patrick Michael Lewis, 59, Oroville, had a charge dismissed: operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device.
  • Anthony Ray McFarlane, 47, Tonasket, guilty of third-degree DWLS. McFarlane was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 88 days suspended, and fined $453.
  • Ryan Gabriel Meese, 29, Oroville, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Cassidy Anne Moomaw, 19, Omak, had a third-degree malicious mischief charge dismissed.
  • Joseph Edward Murchison, 45, Omak, guilty of indecent exposure. Murchison was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 60 days suspended, and fined $43.
  • Justin William Nanpuya, 39, Omak, guilty of fourth-degree assault and third-degree theft. Nanpuya was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 349 days suspended, and fined a total of $1,341.
  • Angel Nunez Mora, 25, Okanogan, guilty on two counts of third-degree theft. Nunez Mora was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 349 days suspended, and fined total of $906.
  • Mark Alex Nysti, 42, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Nysti was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 359 days suspended, and fined $829.
  • Sarah Marie Ohmer, 44, Oroville, guilty of first-degree criminal trespassing. Ohmer was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined $343.
