  • The court found probable cause to charge Christopher David Chapple, 34, Oroville, with eight counts of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. The crimes allegedly occurred throughout May.
  • The court found probable cause to charge John Michael Lead Sr., 60, Okanogan, with second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. The crimes allegedly occurred June 8.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Jason Albert Boyd, 28, Omak, with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance (one each for methamphetamine and heroin). The crimes allegedly occurred Jan. 19. In a separate case, the court found probable cause to charge Boyd with distribution of a controlled substance (heroin). That crime allegedly occurred Oct. 21, 2015.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Brandon Shea Marchand, 42, Okanogan, with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and first-degree trafficking in stolen property. In a separate case, the court found probable cause to charge Marchand with attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle, POCS (methamphetamine), obstruction and third-degree DWLS. Those crimes allegedly occurred May 31.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Cameron Dean Gregg, 56, Omak, with harassment (threats to kill) (DV). The crime allegedly occurred June 1.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Chad David Buckmiller, 34, Oroville, with distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). The crime allegedly occurred March 25.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Terry Wayne Allen, 43, Tonasket, with harassment (threats to kill) and harassment (threats to kill) (DV). The crimes allegedly occurred June 5.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Dwight Eldon Backherms, 53, Tonasket, with POCS (methamphetamine), POCS (heroin) and use of drug paraphernalia. The crimes allegedly occurred June 1.

District Court

  • Joseph Andrew Kelly, 29, Oroville, guilty of DUI. Kelly was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 360 days suspended, and fined $2,226.
  • Richard Douglas Layton, 43, Omak, guilty of fourth-degree assault. Layton was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 362 days suspended, and fined $1,133.
  • Bill Edward Lindy, 22, Omak, had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed.
  • Madison Leigh Louie, 30, Omak, guilty of first-degree criminal trespassing. Louie was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 362 days suspended, and fined $873.
  • Kenneth Dale Mayberry, 48, Okanogan, had a harassment charge dismissed.
  • Darwin J. McDonald, 28, Omak, guilty (other deferral revoked) of third-degree theft. McDonald received a 364-day suspended sentence and fined $283.
  • Blair Bear McDougall, 32, Omak, guilty of fourth-degree assault. McDougall was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined $1,233.
  • Anthony Ray McFarlane, 47, Tonasket, guilty of third-degree DWLS. McFarlane was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, and fined $613.
  • Samantha Nadia Nelson, 45, Omak, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Sarah Marie Ohmer, 43, Oroville, guilty of first-degree criminal trespassing. The court dismissed a third-degree malicious mischief charge. Ohmer was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 360 days suspended, and fined $673.
  • Dawn Marie Parisien, 39, Omak, guilty of third-degree theft. Parisien was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 354 days suspended, and fined $933.
  • Robert Joseph Lawrence Parisien, 21, Omak, guilty on two counts of indecent exposure. Parisien was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 60 days suspended, and fined $983.
  • Larry Lee Peasley, 61, Omak, had a harassment (threats to kill) charge dismissed.
  • Lacey Ann Picard, 26, Omak, guilty of making a false or misleading statement to a public servant. Picard was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 359 days suspended, and fined $873.
  • Enrique Israel Polina, 18, Omak, guilty of second-degree DWLS. Polina received a 364-day suspended sentence and fined $1,083.
