Criminal

  • William Keaton Jr., 67, Tonasket, was found guilty (jury trial) on July 7 for second-degree assault (DV). The court dismissed two bail-jumping charges. Keaton was sentenced Sept. 13 to 17.5 months in prison and fined $1,225.50 for the Feb. 28, 2015 crimes.
  • Matthew Russell Carden, 29, Omak, pleaded guilty Sept. 13 to second-degree organized retail theft. The crime allegedly occurred July 4. In a second case, Carden pleaded guilty Sept. 13 to residential burglary, second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and third-degree malicious mischief. Those crimes occurred Nov. 4, 2015. Carden was sentenced to a total of 19 months in prison and fined a total of $2,521.
  • The court issued an arrest warrant Sept. 14 for Kelby James Renkert, 29, Okanogan, with failure to register as a sex offender.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Billy Joe Willis, 65, Omak, with one count each of first-degree of possession of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and first-degree dealing in depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The crimes allegedly occurred June 1.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Melinda Kay Keener, 55, Tonasket, with two counts of malicious prosecution (one count of which is (DV)). The crimes allegedly occurred July 30 and 31.
  • The court found probable cause to charge William Shane Craig, 51, Omak, with harassment (threats to kill) (DV). The crime allegedly occurred Sept. 2.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Janelle Deanna St. Peter, 21, Omak, with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and hit-and-run (attended vehicle). The crimes allegedly occurred Sept. 2.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Mark Reynolds Worth, 45, Pateros, with attempted first-degree murder (premeditated) and drive-by shooting. The crimes allegedly occurred Sept. 7.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Arabella May Watts, 19, Oroville, with residential burglary, POCS (methamphetamine), third-degree theft and resisting arrest. The crimes allegedly occurred Sept. 9.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Cory Renee Riehart, 31, Omak, with second-degree assault (with a deadly weapon) (DV). The crime allegedly occurred Sept. 10.

District Court

  • James Sidney Lucas, 67, Omak, guilty of DUI. Lucas had a second DUI charge dismissed. Lucas was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 304 days suspended, and fined $2,196.
  • Corey Wayne Lund, 28, Omak, had two charges dismissed: fourth-degree assault and violation of a no-contact order. Lund was fined a total of $1,000.
  • Tiffany Lee Mannikko, 20, Okanogan, had a charge dismissed: possession of marijuana (less than 40 grams). Mannikko was fined $400.
  • Jared Joseph Milam, 31, Oroville, guilty of third-degree malicious mischief and two counts of bail jumping. Milam was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 304 days suspended, and fined a total of $1,333.
  • Caelen Zeke Moore, 21, Tonasket, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed. Moore was fined $200.
  • Rachele Lorraine Moore, 32, Omak, guilty of DUI and guilty (deferred prosecution revoked) of third-degree DWLS. Moore had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed. Moore was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 349 days suspended, and fined a total of $2,297.
  • Joseph Edward Murchison, 45, Omak, guilty of second-degree criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct. Murchison was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 75 days suspended, and fined $633.
  • Bradley Dean Nearants, 20, Okanogan, had a second-degree criminal trespassing charge dismissed.
  • Chase Wayne Nicholson, 31, Okanogan, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Nicholson received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $513.
  • Donovan Rae Nysti, 23, Okanogan, guilty of use of drug paraphernalia. Nysti was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 88 days suspended, and fined $833.
  • Michelle Lynn Olson, 36, Omak, guilty of reckless endangerment and DUI. Olson was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 319 days suspended, and fined a total of $3,086.
  • Ameera Elizabeth Parisien, 19, Omak, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Joseph Blaze Parnisi, 35, Omak, guilty of third-degree theft. Parnisi was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 362 days suspended, and fined $323.
  • Frank A. Paul, 30, Omak, guilty of second-degree DWLS and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Paul was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 349 days suspended, and fined a total of $1,123.
  • Seth David Phillips, 45, Oroville, guilty of DUI and guilty (deferred prosecution revoked) of violation of a no-contact order. Phillips was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined a total of $1,984.
  • Corinna Shy Starr Plant, 22, Omak, guilty of fourth-degree assault and violation of a no-contact order. Plant was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 357 days suspended, and fined a total of $1,476.
  • Mihaly Racz, no middle name, 37, Oroville, guilty of first-degree DWLS and third-degree malicious mischief. Racz had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed. Racz was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 274 days suspended, and fined a total of $1,106.
  • Elizabeth M. Ramirez Mendez, 33, Okanogan, had two-charges dismissed: third-degree DWLS and first-degree criminal assistance.
