  • The court found probable cause to charge Michael John Stensgar, Jr, 30, Omak, with POCS (methamphetamine) and introduction of contraband. The crimes allegedly occurred March 22.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Cayden Lee Latimer, 19, with two counts of POCS (one each of methamphetamine and chlordiazepoxide) and one count of use of drug paraphernalia.

District Court

  • Dwight Eldon Backherms, 52, Tonasket, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Backherms was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 days suspended, and fined $703.
  • Shannon Marie Bailey, 45, Oroville, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Bailey received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $903.
  • Frederick David Batson Jr., 31, Omak, guilty of DUI. Batson was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 362 days suspended, and fined $1,981.
  • Reinaldo Alejandro Beltran, 23, Oroville, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Matthew James Blackledge, 50, Omak, had four charges dismissed: violation of a no-contact order, violation of an anti-harassment order, violation of a civil anti-harassment order and harassment (gross misdemeanor).
  • Gordon Lewis Bordeaux, 66, Omak, had a charge dismissed: violation of a no-contact order.
  • Michael Vincent Burke, 28, Omak, had a fourth-degree assault charge dismissed. Burke was fined $500.
  • Matthew Russel Carden Jr., 29, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS and two counts of third-degree theft. Carden was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 354 days suspended, and fined a total of $1,856.
  • Sheri L. Carden, 40, Omak, guilty of third-degree theft. Carden was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 363 days suspended, and fined $873.
  • Gregorio Cosino Jr., 29, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS and obstruction. Cosino was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 360 days suspended, and fined $1,123.
  • Anthony Daniel Dee, 23, Omak, had a first-degree negligent driving charge dismissed.
  • Daniel Mark Dixon, 34, Oroville, guilty of second-degree criminal trespassing. Dixon received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $163.
  • Silvino Juan G. Dos Santos, 25, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Dos Santos received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $863.
  • Michael Dillan Ellsworth, 21, Omak, had a charge dismissed: possession of marijuana (less than 40 grams). Ellsworth was fined $400.
