District Court

Sarinal Andrews, 21, Malott, pled guilty to third degree DWLS. She was sentenced to 90 days with 81 days suspended and fined a total of $303.

Rena Gunn, 37, Omak, pled guilty to third degree DWLS and DUI. She was sentenced to 90 days with 84 suspended and 365 days with 360 suspended and fined a total of $1,781.

Michelle Lynn Hester, 40, Omak, pled guilty to third degree DWLS. She was sentenced to 90 days with 90 suspended and fined a total of $803.

Michael James Johnson, 51, Tonasket, pled guilty to DUI. He was sentenced to 365 days with 363 days suspended and fined a total of $1,166.

Darrel Wayne Picard, 30, Omak, pled guilty to third degree DWLS. He was sentenced to 90 days with 84 suspended and fined a total of $653.

Enrique Rick Ruis Jr., 25, Omak, pled guilty to fourth degree Assault. He was sentenced to 180 days with 173 suspended and fined a total of $893.

Matthew Aaron Velasquez, 32, Omak, pled guilty to third degree DWLS. He was sentenced to 90 days with 80 suspended and fined a total of $803.

Superior Court

Criminal

The court found probable cause to charge Levi W. Mendenhall with Possession of a Weapon by a Person Serving a Sentence in a Local Correction Institution. Bail was set at $10,000.

The court found probable cause to charge Jeffrey P. Duarte, Omak, with the charge of third degree Malicious Mischief and second degree Burglary. Bail was set at $15,000.

The court found probable cause to charge Ronald Ernest Gilge, Omak, with first degree DWLS, DUI and Attempt to Elude. Bail was set at $50,000.

The court found probable cause to charge Mitchell Wayne Roberts, Tonasket, with second degree Assault. Bail was set at $20,000.

Juvenile

An 18-year-old juvenile from Omak pled guilty to MIP. He was sentenced to four days confinement.

Civil

Tansy F. Mathis verses Okanogan County and Noah A. Stewart Chief Corrections Deputy. The Plaintiff has filed a complaint for injunctive relief and a motion for preliminary injunction requesting the following relief: That the defendants be prohibited 1) from further violating Tansy Mathis’s right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment under the 9th Amendment in any manner, 2) from further violating her right to privacy under the U.S. Constitution and the Washington State Constitution, 3) from shackling Tansy Mathis during her labor, during the delivery of her daughter and the recovery thereafter, 4) from posting male guards in the delivery room and during her surgery, 5) from further shackling her feet in any way while she is made to walk while pregnant for any reason, 6) from further restraining her hands against her torso, or using any other restraint of her hands other than handcuffs while she is made to walk while pregnant for any reason. 

Tansy F. Mathis is currently being held in the Okanogan County jail on the probable cause charge of first degree Murder. The victim is Michelle Kitterman, who was pregnant at the time of her murder. Her bail was set at $1,000,000. 09-2-00628-0

A report from Cartwright Dr. near Tonasket of trespassing. The reporting party believes subjects were on the property. Straw and grass hay was shoveled onto the property that was near the property line.

A report from Riverside Dr. in Omak of a burglary. Two males inside fence of city property and on top of roof. They are dressed in all black with hoodie and caps.

A report from Robinson St. in Malott of an assault. Male gave the reporting party a ride to the location and on the way made unwanted passes. The male dropped the party off at the location and left with the reporting party’s belongings.

A report from Juniper St. in Omak of suspicious circumstances. Four juveniles attempting to get into vehicles. The juveniles appear intoxicated.

A report from Omak Ave. in Omak of a burglary. The incident occurred during the weekend.

A hit-and-run accident occurred on Omache Dr. in Omak. An unknown person hit the reporting party’s vehicle while she was inside eating dinner.

A report from Sixth Ave. in Okanogan of a suicide attempt. The reporting party’s husband woke up the reporting party with a firearm.

A report from Pine Creek near Tonasket of harassment. The reporting party was assaulted last July and has been harassed and threatened by subject since June.

A report from O’Neil Rd. near Oroville of a juvenile problem. The reporting party’s 16-year-old son is at his father’s residence. His father is out of the country and the juvenile is refusing to return to the reporting party’s residence for the evening.

A report from Engh Rd. near Omak of suspicious circumstances. A male subject in the parking lot acting strangely asked for a cab. When the cab arrived the subject wanted the driver to “take him to hell.”

A two vehicle non injury accident occurred on Main St. and Central Ave. in Omak.

A report from Fourth Ave. in Oroville of a juvenile problem. The reporting party’s 14-year-old son is missing from his bed. An empty bottle of liquor was found in the bed. The boy drank an entire fifth of run and has left the residence without a coat. The posse was called in and bringing a tracking hound. The juvenile was located.

Ambulance crew responded to Hwy 20 in Tonasket for a 15-year-old student with possible broken bone.

Wednesday, November 4

A one vehicle accident occurred on Eastside Oroville Rd. near Oroville. Damage occurred to a crossing pole at the location. Car parts were left at the scene.

A report from Hwy 7 near Oroville of found property. A man’s wallet was found on the side of the road.

A report from Green Lake Rd. near Okanogan of a missing person. A 59-year-old female dementia patient walked away from her car at the location. Conconully fire advised the subject was found.

A report from Mountain View Dr. near Oroville of a missing four-year-old female. The child has three dogs with hear and has been missing from her residence for 30 minutes. The dogs returned however the child is still missing. The child was located.

A report from Moccasin Flats near Omak of harassment. The reporting party received a sexual picture on her cell phone of a man from an unknown phone number.

A report from Aeneas Valley Rd. near Tonasket of threats. The reporting party received a call from a male that stated he wanted his money or he was going to come kill the reporting party.

A report from Main St. in Omak of an assault. A male subject struck a female.

A report from Okoma Dr. in Omak of suspicious circumstances. A male subject dropped off a vehicle requesting the ignition be changed and door locks that were punched out be replaced.

A report from Index St. in Omak of a weapon offense. The reporting party heard  gunshots and can now hear yelling. A gunshot victim was located at the intersection of Sixth and Index in Omak. The victim has a shotgun wound to the abdomen. Two subject detained for investigation. Subject stated they saw a male subject carrying a rifle wearing white clothing get into a vehicle.

A report from Golden Rd. near Oroville of fraud. A subject in Nebraska stole the reporting party’s social security number. The FBI is conducting the investigation.

A report from Shumway Rd. near Omak of sick animals. Dogs appear to be malnourished and do not have adequate shelter.

A report from Eastside Oroville Rd. near Oroville of an activated alarm. An 80-year-old female is at the location and does not know where or why the alarm is going off.

A one vehicle non-injury accident occurred on Fourth Ave. in Okanogan. A vehicle speeding down the road at 40 to 50 miles per hour hit the front of the garbage truck and kept on driving.

A report from Hwy 7 near Tonasket of a malicious mischief. Door to the pump house was kicked in.

A report from Riverside Dr. in Omak of a vicious animal. A 14-year-old male was attacked by a dog in the area. The skin was not broken but the child’s shirt was torn.

A report from Hwy 7 near Tonasket of harassment. The reporting party’s son’s mother has been calling since Thursday morning.

A report from Tonasket Shop Rd. near Tonasket of suspicious circumstances. Male in bushes near the reporting party’s residence.

A report from Riverside Dr. in Omak of a theft. Two subjects in hoods left with two cases of beer. The cashier is in foot pursuit.

A complaint from Hwy 97 near Tonasket of noise. Ongoing problem with loud music coming from the neighbor’s.

A report from Riverside of a burglary. Someone kicked in the door to a cabin and items were taken.

A one vehicle injury accident occurred on Pine Creek near Tonasket. Vehicle hit a power pole.

A report from Glenwood Ave. in Riverside of harassment. A subject continues to call the reporting party. The subject made threats that he has a firearm but will not use on himself and doesn’t know who he will use it on. The reporting party believes the papers have not been served on the subject yet.

A hit-and-run accident occurred on Engh Rd. near Omak. Sometime today someone drove thru the reporting party’s fence doing damage. Pieces of the vehicle were left at the scene.

A report from Second Ave. in Okanogan of an assault. The reporting party was struck in the face and neck by wife. She then rammed her vehicle into his vehicle.

A report from Lottie Ave. in Conconully of suspicious circumstances. The reporting party heard five shots on Main St. in front of General Store and a male was seen running across the yard.

A report from Ferry St. in Omak of a malicious mischief. The reporting party’s husband destroyed house.

A report from Main St. in Oroville of harassment. The reporting party is trapped in the bathroom by three females.

A report from Main in Riverside of vicious animal. The reporting party’s neighbor’s dog is attacking the reporting party’s chickens. The reporting party was told the dog would be leaving in June but the dog has not been removed. The reporting party has threatened to kill the dog.

A report from Rooster Ridge Rd. near Tonasket of a burglary. The reporting party has been gone for the past week. The reporting party returned home to find the front door and window next to it open and forced entry was made into the residence.

A report from Sixth Ave. in Okanogan of an attempt to locate. The reporting party’s has not seen her 14-year-old son since noon the day before. The reporting party does not believe he ran away. The juvenile’s father lives in Federal Way but the reporting party does not believe he would go there.

A report from Main St. in Oroville of a theft. A portable air compressor was taken during the night from under the carport.

A report from Main St. in Oroville of lost property. The reporting party left a brown folder with passport, SSN and important papers at the location. The folder was located.

A report from a station on Whitcomb Ave. in Tonasket of a gas drive-off. A subject left the location without paying for fuel.
