Criminal

  • Samantha Ann Harding, 45, Okanogan, pleaded guilty Feb. 35 to third-degree assault (DV) and violation of a no-contact order (DV). Harding was sentenced to 33 months in prison and fined $1,360.50 for the Dec. 15, 2015.
  • Michael Shane Snell, 36, Manson, pleaded guilty Feb. 24 to POCS (methamphetamine) and use of drug paraphernalia. Snell was sentenced to 6+ months in jail and fined $2,260.50. The crimes occurred Dec. 5, 2015 near Omak.
  • Patrick Blaine Stevens, 21, Okanogan, pleaded guilty Feb. 23 to two counts of harassment (gross misdemeanor) (lesser included of threats to kill), and one count each of unlawful display of a weapon and unlawfully carrying a loaded pistol in a vehicle. Stevens was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined $1,160.50 for the Dec. 12, 2015 crimes.
  • Mark Anthony Yingling, 32, Omak, pleaded guilty Feb. 23 to second-degree ID theft, third-degree theft and fourth-degree assault (DV). The court dismissed a second-degree robbery (DV) charge. The crime occurred Aug. 18, 2015. In a second case, Yingling pleaded guilty Feb. 23 to first-degree trafficking in stolen property and third-degree theft. Those crimes occurred Aug. 14, 2014. Yingling was sentenced to 12+ months in prison and fined $1,860.50.
  • Donny James St. Peter, 23, Omak, pleaded guilty Feb. 23 to second-degree burglary and third-degree malicious mischief. St. Peter was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 244 days suspended, and fined $1,260.50 for the Dec. 12, 2015 crimes.
  • Marcos Buenaventura Moran, 23, Omak, pleaded guilty Feb. 23 to third-degree assault (DV) (lesser included of second-degree assault) and unlawful imprisonment (DV). The court dismissed a charge of second-degree assault (strangulation). Moran was sentenced to 10 months in jail and fined $1,375.50 for the Aug. 18, 2015.

Juvenile

  • A 17-year-old Omak boy pleaded guilty Feb. 24 to third-degree theft. The crime occurred Feb. 7. In a second case, the same boy pleaded guilty Feb. 24 to possession of marijuana by a person under 21 years of age. The boy was sentenced to a total of eight days in detention with credit for eight days served.

District Court

  • Shiloh Justin Aldag, 39, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. Aldag received a 364-day suspended sentence and fined a total of $1,333.
  • Trevor Warren Armstrong, 30, Okanogan, guilty of third-degree theft. Armstrong was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined $833.
  • Kile William Beeman, 25, Omak, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Latisha Lavern Birdsong, 37, Tonasket, guilty of introduction of contraband. Birdsong received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $253.
  • Dennis Jacob Box, 34, Oroville, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Sireena M. Charley, 24, Omak, had a charge dismissed: MIP/C.
  • Tina Louise Clark, 38, Okanogan, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed.
  • Charles David Cox, 47, Oroville, had a third-degree DWLS charge dismissed. Cox was fined $500.
  • Ryan Ray Desautel, 39, Omak, guilty of DUI. Desautel was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 362 days suspended, and fined $2,236.
