Criminal
- Philip Nolen Lester Jr., 35, Oroville, was found guilty Sept. 8 (jury trial) of first-degree rape of a child and first-degree child molestation. Lester was sentenced to 200 months (16.67 years) in prison and fined $600. The crimes occurred between Dec. 1 and 31, 2015.
- Russell Christopher Arndt, 49, Riverside, was found guilty Oct. 12 (jury trial) of disorderly conduct. The jury also acquitted Arndt of 11 counts of intimidating a public servant. Arndt was sentenced Oct. 17 to 364 days in jail with 363 days suspended, and fined $510.50 for the Aug. 25, 2015 crime.
- Donny James St. Peter, 23, Omak, was found guilty (jury trial) Oct. 14 to two counts of second-degree burglary and one count each of third-degree theft and attempted third-degree theft. The crimes occurred March 3. In a second case, St. Peter was found guilty (jury trial) Oct. 14 to two counts each of second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Those crimes occurred Nov. 24 and 25, 2015. St. Peter was sentenced to 60 months (five years) in prison and fined a total of $2,771. He was also fined $122.62 in restitution to Walmart.
- Raelena May St. Peter, 20, Omak, pleaded guilty Oct. 18 to attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle and third-degree DWLS. The court dismissed three counts of reckless endangerment. St. Peter was sentenced to eight months in jail and fined $800 for the March 8 crimes.
- Mihaly Joseph Racz, 20, Omak, pleaded guilty Oct. 18 to second-degree burglary (lesser included to residential burglary) and attempted third-degree theft. Racz was sentenced to two months in jail and fined $1,260.50 for the Sept. 3 crimes.
- Dominic Lyle Yusi, 41, Okanogan, pleaded guilty Oct. 18 to third-degree malicious mischief (lesser included to second-degree malicious mischief), second-degree criminal trespassing and fourth-degree assault. Yusi was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 361 days suspended, and fined $760.50 for the Dec. 18, 2015 crimes.
- Arabella May Watts, 19, Oroville, pleaded guilty Oct. 19 to residential burglary and POCS (methamphetamine). The court dismissed two other charges: third-degree theft and resisting arrest. The crimes occurred Sept. 9, 3016. In a second case, Watts pleaded guilty Oct. 19 to third-degree assault (lesser included to second-degree assault [with a deadly weapon]). That crime occurred July 7. Watts was sentenced to a total of 12+ months in prison and fined a total of $1,200.
- Donovan Kyle Thompson, 25, Omak, pleaded guilty Oct. 19 to second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Thompson was sentenced to one month in jail and fined $600 plus $33.92 in restitution to Walmart. The crimes occurred Sept. 17.
- The court found probable cause to charge Aubrey Lorraine Storm, 26, Omak, with POCS (methamphetamine) and use of drug paraphernalia. The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 19.
- The court found probable cause to charge Theodore Kurtis Storm, 29, Omak, with three counts of POCS (one each of heroin, benzodiazepine anticonvulsant and buprenorphine hydrochloride) and use of drug paraphernalia. The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 19.
- The court found probable cause to charge Mariah Kirsten Todd, 23, Omak, with three counts of POCS (one each of heroin, benzodiazepine anticonvulsant and buprenorphine hydrochloride) and use of drug paraphernalia. The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 19.
District Court
- Filiconio Otero Soto, 34, Tonasket, guilty of first-degree negligent driving. Otero Soto received a 90-day suspended sentence, and fined $666.
- Daniel Cody Pearcy, 27, Omak, had a charge dismissed: second-degree animal cruelty.
- Rowena Monique Redli, 49, Omak, had a second-degree criminal trespassing charge dismissed.
- Amy Joann Ruiz Contreras, 29, Omak, guilty on three counts of third-degree theft. Ruiz Contreras had an additional third-degree theft charge dismissed. Ruiz Contreras was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 356 days suspended, and fined a total of $863.74.
- Mona Louise Solis, 36, Okanogan, guilty of operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and first-degree DWLS. Solis was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined a total of $792.
- Joe Richard Stewart Jr., 47, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Stewart was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended, and fined $663.
- Jacob Scott Sutton, 19, Omak, guilty of reckless driving and hit-and-run (unattended property). Sutton was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 361 days suspended, and fined a total of $2,525.71.
- Tristan Donald Thorndike, 18, Oroville, had a charge dismissed: possession of marijuana (less than 40 grams).
- Moises Vasquez Vargas, 31, Loomis, guilty of operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device and first-degree DWLS. Vargas was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 274 days suspended, and fined a total of $789.
- Richard Allen Watt, 56, Omak, guilty of second-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree malicious mischief. Watt was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 363 days suspended, and fined $738.
- Jon Claiborne Wood, 50, Omak, had a fourth-degree assault dismissed. Wood was fined $200.
