John Beedle, of Oroville, died on April 7, 2008 in Oroville. He was born on April 26, 1955 in Oceanside, Calif. to parents Cliff and Delores Beedle.
Audrey L. Inlow age 65 of Tonasket died on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at North Valley Extended Care in Tonasket.
Mary L. Sasse, age 63, of Tonasket died on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at her home.
She was born in Tonasket to parents Albert and Evelyn Johnson. Mary was a much-loved wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and yard work and she loved playing cards.
Leonard Walter Kapochus Jr., age 50 of Oroville, died on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at his home.
He was born on Feb. 2, 1958 in Gouverneur, New York to parents Marilyn and Leonard Kapochus Sr. He was a soul mate to his wife and a rock for his family. He was a kind and gentle soul and was always there for anybody who needed help. Leonard served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was loved by many friends and family. He was a member of the Eagles in Granite Falls, Wash. and the American Legion Post #82 of Tonasket.
Joan W. Kenney, age 75, died on Monday, March 17, 2008 at the North Valley Hospital in Tonasket.
She was born on April 25, 1932 in the Bronx, New York to parents Adolf and Elise Lienau. Joan was the mother of four children. She worked in the operating room as a nurse and was a teacher in the Lutheran Church of Bible Study where she was the first woman deacon in the church in the 70′s. Joan loved flowers and country life, living peaceful and quiet. She spent her last four years in Molson with her son and family.
Doris N. (Peterson) Lenton, 72, formerly of Oroville passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 in Lebanon, Oregon. She was born on June 6, 1935.
A memorial service in her honor will be held at the Oroville Trinity Episcopal Church, 602 Central Ave., on Saturday, March 29 at 11 a.m.
Joseph A. Mlynek, age 79, of Oroville died on Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 at his home.
He was born on Dec. 26, 1928 on the farm in Schuykill County, Pennsylvania, to parents of Polish descent. Joe came from a family of five boys and four girls; six out of the nine kids served in the Armed Service. Joe was always proud that his mother had six stars on her flag.
Adrian Keeshan Gallardo, 66, of Oroville passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. He was born on March 1, 1942 to Pete and Agnes Gallardo in Sacramento, Calif.
Adrian had been a Longshoremen of Local No.19 in Seattle for 19 years and upon meeting his wife, Marge, they decided to move to Oroville in 1984 where they have remained ever since. Adrian loved to go fishing, do farm work, play video games and remodel things.
Born Sept. 24, 1924. A previous resident of the Oroville/Tonasket area for many years passed away peacefully Feb. 4, 2008 in Mount Vernon, Wash.
She is survived by her daughters, Anna Marie Applebee, of Oroville and Bonnie Schulz of Camano Island; sons, Dennis Rollins of Carmel, Bob Howe of Oroville, Kenneth Howe of Bothell. She has nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She will be missed by all.
Sylvia Gay Brazle entered eternal life on Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 at home on the ranch.
Gay was born on March 3, 1935 in Midway, Arkansas to parents O.M. and Bess Miller. Gay grew up in Arkansas and graduated from Paris High School. She came to Oroville in the early 1950′s working at Palmer-Nelson Hardware. On Nov. 19, 1954 she married Dean Brazle in Oroville. Gay worked in the local apple warehouses and also, along with her husband, owned grocery stores in the Loomis and Oroville area.
