Whether your work is keeping your nose to the grindstone, flooding is getting you down, or your life needs a wee pick-me-up in general, there is someplace you can go. The volunteers of Wine Country Racing Association (WCRA) are getting Richter Pass Motorplex geared-up, out-fitted and ready to host the second race of the 2018 drag racing season in the South Okanagan Valley.
OSOYOOS, BC – Despite threatening skies, the Wine Country Racing Association (WCRA) pulled off a successful start to the 2018 drag racing season at Osoyoos, BC’s Richter Pass Motorplex.
OSOYOOS, BC – The time has come, for all the kids who’ve been good throughout the winter and worked on their drag cars, to head out to the Osoyoos airport and have some fun. Though Mother Nature seems to be taking her sweet time in gearing spring up this year, there is a fun-loving bunch of racers who have done some gearing up of their own, and are ready to let it rip, with hopes of no slow starts.
OLIVER, BC – Another instance of the wonderful array of talent found in the little town of Oliver is found in Helen Wollf. Wollf’s background in music has led to an invitation as one of the clinicians at the BCGEHR Spring Ring 2018 where she will present on Beginner Solo Ringing and Small Ensembles with Bells.
Wine Country Racing Association (WCRA) volunteers are due a grand round of applause for this past weekend’s race extravaganza in Osoyoos, BC.
OSOYOOS, BC – Last weekend brought with it (finally!) weather that suits the slogan “Osoyoos, BC – Canada’s pocket desert.” Mother Nature let up with her rain storms, and the drag racers didn’t waste one second of the gorgeous weather.
OSOYOOS, BC – Spring gently and slowly rolls through our valley this year. Mother Nature doesn’t seem to be in a big rush, as she coaxes the buds to swell and the blossoms to (finally) pop open on the trees. The birds have started flowing in and their songs are a welcome treat for our ears.
