Shine and Shade moves, expands services

OMAK – Shine and Shade Window Tinting and Auto Detailing has moved to a new location, setting up shop at 650 Riverside Drive, Omak.

Business owner Andy Koehn, a Tonasket resident, said that the new location, formerly occupied by Zion Ink, provides a better environment for high-quality services.

“It has a divided workspace and clean room exclusion for tinting,” he said. “That, in turn, gives a higher quality product.”

Shine and Shade provides high quality auto detailing and window tinting, home and commercial window tinting, as well as detailing for boats, RVs, motorcycles and other services.

To celebrate the move, Shine and Shade is offering a promotional discount on window tinting.

Koehn is planning on expanding his business to include aircraft detailing. Koehn said Shine and Shade employee Jason Unruh was selected as part of the detailing team for Air Force One and the Concorde at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.

Most of Shine and Shade’s work will be done much closer to home.

“In this economy, helping people maintain the quality of their vehicle instead of having to purchase a new one is a good feeling,” Koehn said. “I feel like this business is an asset to the community.”

Koehn is married to Rojean, a homemaker. They have four children: Jamin, seven, Claire, five, Charlie, three, and Paige, 11 months.
