Jackie Bradley

Jackie Bradley was born in Portland, Ore. She moved to Okanogan as a young child. As a young adult she attended WSU, and later married Bob Bradley, being partners in life, politics and fun until Bob passed away in 2003.

Jackie was very well known for her work in community service and her enthusiastic lifelong support of the Democratic Party; in fact she had recently received the Warren G. Magneson award for life long achievement. Jackie was one of Okanogan County’s longest serving Public Officials, being Court Clerk for 38 years.

Jackie had great compassion and empathy for anyone in need; she helped found the Okanogan Regional Home Health Hospice, and was active with the North Cascades Chapter of American Red Cross, The Okanogan Soroptomist and The Kiwanis Club.

Jackie had just retired but was as busy as ever, she was very active with the Okanogan Chamber of Commerce, Okanogan Pioneer Association, while also being Chair of the Okanogan County Democrats. Jackie was recently elected vice chair of the 4th Congressional District and was also one of the founders and chair of the Washington Democrats Rural Caucus, along with being the Democratic State Committee woman for the 7th Legislative District.

Jackie was one of the rare people who really made a difference in our world she was a great influence and inspiration to everyone who knew her. Jackie always thought of others first, everything she did was selfless. Jackie will be greatly missed by everyone.
