Hornet girls' team qualifies for State

The Oroville Hornets Girls Cross Country team of Sierra Speiker, Catie Arrigoni, Callie Barker, Katie Tietje, Ali Miller and Reinna Quick have all qualified for State. Zach Speiker has qualified for the Oroville boys.
WENATCHEE -The Oroville Hornets Girls Cross Country team has qualified for state by winning at the regional meet in Wenatchee.
All of the Hornet girls placed well with Sierra Speiker finishing in first place, Catie Arrigoni in second, Callie Barker in ninth, Katie Tietje in tenth, Ali Miller in eleventh and Reinna Quick in fifteenth.
For the Hornet Boys, Zach Speiker finished third, with Ruben Renfroe and Connor Hughes also finishing well.
All of the Hornet Girls and Zack Speiker will represent Oroville at the State Cross Country meet in Pasco on Nov. 15.
