Daniel “Dan” Charles Smith, 70, of Tonasket, Wash., died Jan. 30, 2015 at his home in

Ellisforde. Dan was born to Charles and Doris Smith in Deer Lodge, Montana.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Pamela Smith They owned Dan’s Ellisforde Market

for more than 46 years. He is survived by son Darren Smith of Tonasket and daughter Kadel Mergens of Wilton Manors, Flor. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for

donations to the local Hospice care. Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel and the

Okanogan Co. Crematory of Okanogan are caring for the arrangements.
