  • Jamaree Josephina Ponce, 22, Omak, pleaded guilty Nov. 3 to second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Those crimes occurred April 6. In a second case, Ponce pleaded guilty to additional counts of second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Those crimes occurred March 13. In a third case, Ponce pleaded guilty to another round of second-degree burglary and third-degree theft charges. Those crimes occurred April 6. Ponce was sentenced to a total of 364 days in jail wih 274 days concurrent, and fined a total of $1,800.
  • Alex Hernandez, 18, Omak, pleaded guilty Nov. 3 to failure to register as a sex offender. Hernandez was sentenced to 37 days in jail and fined $1,260.50 for the Sept. 1-16 crime.
  • Dustin Hawk Chambers, 25, Omak, was found guilty (bench trial) Nov. 3 of failure to register as a sex offender. Chambers was sentenced Nov. 4 to 43 months in prison and fined $600 for the Feb. 9-March 15 crime.
  • The court issued an arrest warrant Nov. 7 to Angelica Maria Evaristo, 18, Okanogan, for three counts of second-degree burglary, one count each of first-degree malicious mischief, first-degree trafficking in stolen property and third-degree theft, and two counts of third-degree malicious mischief.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Cara Ann Campbell, 29, Omak, with second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. The crimes allegedly occurred Jan. 6, 2015.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Augustina Luis Flores Purser, 26, Omak, with second-degree TMVWOP, second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and POCS (methamphetamine). The crimes allegedly occurred Nov. 4.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Jeffry Allen Epley, 33, Tonasket, with POCS (methamphetamine). The crime allegedly occurred Nov. 4.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Erin Lorraine Phillips, 21, Tonasket, with POCS (with intent) (marijuana). The crime allegedly occurred Nov. 5.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Lynette Lomacka Washington, 42, Oroville, with POCS (methamphetamine) and POCS (with intent) (marijuana). The crimes allegedly occurred Nov. 5.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Martha Ruth Lutz, 50, Oroville, with second-degree ID theft, second-degree theft and third-degree theft. The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 14.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Reynaldo Diaz Patina, 61, Tonasket, with third-degree assault of a child and third-degree assault (DV). The crimes allegedly occurred Nov. 4.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Benjamin S. Thomas, 32, Omak, with second-degree burglary, third-degree theft, third-degree malicious mischief, obstruction and resisting arrest. The crimes allegedly occurred Oct. 2 and Nov. 9.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Troy Douglas Haydon, 48, Tonasket, with unlawful imprisonment (DV) and fourth-degree assault (DV). The crimes allegedly occurred Nov. 6.

 

District Court

  • Joshua Kane England, 22, Omak, guilty of fourth-degree assault. England was received a 364-day suspended sentence and fined $833.
  • William Dwane Gallas, 61, Oroville, guilty of third-degree DWLS. Gallas was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, and fined $613.
  • Sheldon Wesley George, 32, Omak, guilty of fourth-degree assault. George was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 358 days suspended, and fined $873.
  • Patrick Matthew Gronlund, 24, Oroville, guilty of reckless driving. Gronlund received a 364-day suspended sentence and fined $1,393.
  • Vickie Ann Hall, 49, Omak, had two charges dismissed: fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.
  • Amber Rae Johnson, 25, guilty of disorderly conduct. Johnson received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $163.
  • Trudie Leigh Mapes, 29, Tonasket, guilty of fourth-degree assault. Mapes was sentenced to 364 days in jail 362 days suspended and fined $648.
