Criminal

  • Troy Steven Pierre, 19, Omak, pleaded guilty March 1 to theft of a motor vehicle. Pierre was sentenced to three months in jail and fined $1,260.50 for the Dec. 31, 2015 crime.
  • Christopher Loren Anguiano, 27, Oroville, pleaded guilty March 1 to POCS (methamphetamine). The court dismissed an additional charge: use of drug paraphernalia. Anguiano was sentenced to six-plus months in jail and fined $2,2650.40 for the Feb. 6 crimes.
  • The court issued a criminal summons to Larry Gene Visger, 68, Oroville, for second-degree theft. The crime allegedly occurred July 14.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Melonie Pierre, no middle name listed, 34, Omak, with two counts of obtaining a legend drug by fraud. The crimes allegedly occurred Feb. 22 and March 4.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Larry Gene Visger, 68, Oroville, with assault in violation of a protection order and fourth-degree assault. The crimes allegedly occurred Feb. 28.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Josephine Mary Lambert, 18, Omak, with second-degree burglary, POCS (heroin), having or making burglary tools, and use of drug paraphernalia. The crimes allegedly occurred March 3.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Blair Bear McDougall, 32, Omak, with second-degree malicious mischief. The crime allegedly occurred March 2.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Donny James St. Peter, 23, with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count each of third-degree theft and attempted third-degree theft. The crimes allegedly occurred March 3.
  • The court found probable cause to charge Kyle Anthony Nicholson, 29, Omak, with POCS (marijuana) (more than 40 grams). The crime allegedly occurred March 4.

Juvenile

  • A 13-year-old Omak girly pleaded guilty March 9 to MIP/C. The crime occurred Dec. 6, 2015. In a second case, the same girl pleaded guilty March 9 to third-degree theft. That crime occurred Jan. 15. In a third case, the girl pleaded guilty to guilty March 9 to first-degree criminal trespassing. That crime occurred Feb. 10. The girl was sentenced to a total of seven days in detention with credit for seven days served.

District Court

  • Amber Rae Johnson, 24, had a charge dismissed: violation of a no-contact order.
  • Kelsie Linn Kalma, 21, Omak, guilty of DUI. Kalma was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 363 days suspended, and fined $1,681.
  • William Keaton Jr., 66, Tonasket, guilty of DUI. Keaton was sentenced to 364 days in jail and fined $1,981.
  • Joe Ballesteros Lopez, 21, Omak, guilty of second-degree DWLS. Lopez was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 346 days suspended, and fined $1,123.
  • Ramon Ismael Lozano Larios, 18, Tonasket, guilty of reckless driving and second-degree DWLS. Lozano Larios was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 362 days suspended, and fined a total of $873.
  • Tyler James Martin, 23, Okanogan, guilty of indecent exposure. Martin was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, and fined $843.
  • James Edward McCallister, 65, Tonasket, guilty of DUI. McCallister was sentenced to 364 days in jail with 334 days suspended, and fined $2,236.
  • Gerald Stephen McCandless, 45, Omak, guilty of third-degree DWLS. McCandless received a 90-day suspended sentence and fined $413.
  • Troy Lee McCollum, 25, Oroville, had a hit-and-run charge dismissed.
  • Salvador Mendoza Limpia, 33, Oroville, had a charge dismissed: no valid operator’s license without ID.
