OROVILLE – The Oroville girls soccer team notched its first victory of the season on Tuesday, Oct. 9, blanking Bridgeport 1-0 in a Central Washington League contest.

Meagan Moralez scored the Hornets’ goal, with Kelsey Stell picking up the assist.

The Hornets improved to 1-9 (1-3, 3 points in CWL play) knocked the Fillies (4-5, 0-4) into fifth place with the win. Oroville hosts Tonasket on Thursday, Oct. 11.
