TONASKET – Chelan’s volleyball team delivered a decisive sweep to Tonasket on Thursday, Oct. 4, winning the Caribou Trail League match 25-8, 25-8, 25-2.

“My girls would like to forget about this game and move on,” said Tonasket coach Jackie Gliddon. “Every match we learn a bit more about what it will take to compete in this league. I’m not giving up on the girls; they continue to work hard in practice to improve their skills and mindset.”

Ahlia Young was 4-of-4 serving, Devan Utt had three kills, Sadie Long and Rachael Sawyer both each had one kill.

Tonasket (2-8, 0-8 CTL) hosts Okanogan on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
