TONASKET – The Tonasket Tigers played one of the top teams in the state at last Friday’s homecoming game and despite a 36-13 loss to Cascade came away with some positive lessons.

TONASKET – Brewster used aerial dominance taking a 21-13 first half lead while the Tigers couldn’t convert scoring opportunities when they had to.
After a scoreless second half defensive struggle, the Bears made their victory stand up, walking away with a road win and their second Caribou Trail League victory.
TONASKET – Mayte Ortega’s serves were brutal (12 aces), Amber Allen and Cierra Silverthorn were tenacious in registering multiple kills and the Lady Tigers started to play fairly even, overcoming a 21-25 first game defeat before going on to take the next three games (25-15, 25-11 and 25-11) against Cashmere Sept. 19.
