TONASKET – The Tigers weren’t fast enough to stop a balanced Omak football team during their home game on Thursday, Oct. 29 and they lost 48-7.

TONASKET – The Tigers were pumped up and roaring to go before their game against the Lake Roosevelt Raiders on Friday, Oct. 16 and their intensity stayed high during their 50-6 victory.
CHELAN – Just two days after achieving their first victory of the season, the Tonasket volleyball team lost on the road to Chelan.
COLVILLE – The Tonasket cross country runners who competed in the Colville meet this season ran their best times for a 5,000 meter race.
BREWSTER – The Tonasket soccer team suffered two hard losses last week against Omak and Brewster.
KETTLE FALLS – Sierra Speiker finished the cross country season undefeated by winning the middle schools girls’ race in the Can-Am meet in Kettle Falls on Saturday, Oct. 17 with a time of 11:01.
OROVILLE – On Monday Oct. 12 the Oroville Lady Hornets soccer team hosted the Manson Lady Trojans and came away with a 4-3 victory.
YAKIMA – The LaSalle Lightening, ranked second in the state, handed the Oroville Hornets their first loss last Friday after winning six straight, 48-7.
OROVILLE – The Hornets won their sixth game in a row Friday when they beat the Bridgeport Mustangs 47-0 on Oroville’s Ben Prince Field.
The game started with Bridgeport’s kick going into the end zone, giving the Hornets a first and ten from their own 20-yard line. Five plays later from mid-field Nicky Perez went around right end for a 50-yard touchdown run. The point-after-touchdown snap was high and Preston Iverson picked up the ball, rolled left and passed to Jose Velasco for the two-point conversion.
With just under a minute and a half gone on the clock, Oroville was ahead 8-0.
KITTITAS – The Lady Hornets hit the road for a close match against the Lady Coyotes of Kittitas n Saturday, Oct. 10.
