SPOKANE – The Tonasket cross country team did better than they ever have at the Spokane Valley Classic this year.

OROVILLE – The Hornets dropped their two most recent soccer matches on the road, falling to both Omak and Manson.
On Thursday, Sept. 10 the Lady Hornets traveled to Omak to play the Pioneers. After a half time tie of two to two the Hornets ended up losing to the Lady Pioneers three to six.
WINTHROP – The Oroville Hornets defeated the Liberty Bell Lions in a 21 to zero victory last week.
The Hornet’s defense held Liberty Bell to minus five yards rushing and five yards total offense in their 21-0 win Friday Night in Winthrop, according to Coach Tam Hutchinson.
MANSON – On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Oroville Lade Hornet Volleyball players traveled to Manson for an exciting competition which ended in a victory for the Hornets.
OMAK – In their second meet of the year, a Tonasket cross country runner took first place for the girls while a Tonasket boy took second place.
CHELAN – For the first half of Tonasket’s football game against Chelan, it seemed the Tigers were in for a victory on the road, but mistakes in the third quarter and a hard-hitting Chelan team led to a Chelan 16-14 victory instead.
COULEE DAM – The Tigers volleyball finished their week off with a loss to Lake Roosevelt on the road on Thursday, Sept. 17.
The away loss came two days after the Tigers lost to Brewster at home on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
LEAVENWORTH – The Tonasket volleyball team finished their first week of play with a loss to Cascade last week after losing to Oroville earlier in the week.
BRIDGEPORT – The Tonasket girls’ soccer team ended their first week of play with a win against Bridgeport.
TONASKET – The Tigers girls’ cross country team finished the Tonasket Invite in second place with 65 points, behind only Chelan with 21 points, while the boys’ team finished in third place with 64 points behind Chelan with 44 points and Republic with 31 points.
