TONASKET – The Tonasket High School baseball team received the Caribou Trail League Sportsmanship Award for the 2010 team, the head coach announced at the team’s banquet on Wednesday, June 9.

TONASKET – Over $14,000 was paid out among the top 10 riders at the 6th Annual Jeremy Ives Open Bull Riding Memorial, held at the Tonasket Rodeo Grounds on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5 in conjunction with the 75th Tonasket Founders Day Weekend.
YAKIMA – For the second consecutive year, Tonasket tennis player Brett Hendrick placed sixth at the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association’s 1B/2B/1A State Tennis Tournament at the Yakima Tennis Center, held on Friday, May 28 and Saturday, May 29.
CHENEY – Three Tonasket track runners competed in the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association’s 1A State Track Meet at Eastern Washington University last weekend with one of them setting personal records in two events.
TONASKET – Several Tonasket boys’ soccer players were presented with Caribou Trail All-League Awards and varsity letters during the team’s banquet on Monday, May 24.
KITTITAS – On Friday May 21, the Oroville Track Team traveled to Kittitas for the District Meet and the Lady Hornets returned with the championship.
OROVILLE – After defeating the number three ranked Liberty Bell Lady Lions at home at districts, the Hornets assured themselves a place in the upcoming State Fastpitch Tournament – it was just unforeseen if they would go in as the number one or number two seed.
OMAK – At the conclusion of the district finals tennis tournament in Omak on Saturday, May 22, the Tonasket boys’ tennis team tied the Omak boys’ team for the district title while two Tigers also qualified for the state meet in Yakima this weekend.
CASHMERE – Three Tonasket track athletes qualified to compete at the state track meet at the District Six 1A Championship on Friday, May 21 in Cashmere.
TONASKET – The Youth Soccer Association’s season ended at an all-day tournament in Chief Tonasket Park on Saturday, May 22 with 48 teams participating from Oroville, Tonasket, Omak/Okanogan and Methow.
