KETTLE FALLS – Sierra Speiker finished the cross country season undefeated by winning the middle schools girls’ race in the Can-Am meet in Kettle Falls on Saturday, Oct. 17 with a time of 11:01.
Oroville’s top high school boys’ finisher was Connor Hughes in 18th place with a time of 20:37. Alex Kelly finished with a time of 21:55 in 27th place and Ronel Kee in 40th place in 23:10. The Hornet’s lone high school girl runner, Callie Barker, finished in 56th place with a time of 26:42.
Colton Iverson placed 10th in the middle school boys race in 13:19.

He graduated from Gonzaga University with a degree in Communications - Print Journalism, with an emphasis in photojournalism. He is a proud alumnus of Oroville High School.
